Two summers after our first shoot, Carly of Free Time Wine invited me back to capture the 2025 grape harvest. Same location, same task at hand, with even some familiar faces in the crew. An event like this is one of my favorite scenes to capture; I'm in the middle of an orchard with my camera, people buzzing about and wizzing past me like the bees that pollenated these crops. There’s something so inherently rewarding about humans working the land. The energy is palpable; Everyone involved is hard at work, focused, and not a soul worried about their photo being taken… which allows me to work in the background, capturing the truly candid, cinematic moments that only a harvest could produce.
