Maternity photos for Hillary.

Hillary wasn’t originally convinced she was going to hire anyone to capture her first pregnancy, but when she saw I was running a special and had some slots left she took it as a sign and scheduled her session. We weren’t sold on a nature or landscape setting as there is SO many examples of that here in the Columbia River Gorge. Hillary wanted something different and laid back, and I was so here for that. We did a quick studio session in front of a haphazardly covered painters wall, a somewhat contrasting juxtaposition to what you might envision for a maternity session. What we got were a mix of both raw and soft images of this absolutely glowing mother to be. and isn’t that what a mother should be? Raw, but soft. Firm, but kind.
